Create Fulfillment Profile

Learn how to set up a fulfillment profile to effectively track and report order fulfillment expenses.

If your shipping costs fluctuate based on order price, weight, item quantity, and more implement a dynamic profile to apply the accurate fulfillment costs per order according to these variables.

This article walks you through the setup of fulfillment profiles, ensuring that all contribution costs are considered to provide an accurate assessment of your profit.​

Create a profile

  1. Navigate to Settings ➡️ Costs ➡️ Fulfillment and click "Create Fulfillment Rule"

  2. Select the main variable that determines your fulfillment costs, and click next

  3. Add rates, each added rate will create a new column in the table below

    ⚠️Note: To further refine your fulfillment cost reporting, you can incorporate additional conditions alongside the main variable of the profile. Here is how to do so

  4. Add Handling or Duties cost fields

  5. Select countries and enter costs for each rate and country, once done click Save



  6. Enter Profile name and select date range where these changes will take affect


Refinement condition

To further refine your fulfillment cost reporting, you can incorporate additional conditions alongside the main variable of the profile. For instance, if the weight ranges defined previously only pertain to orders shipped via the carrier "DHL," we can introduce a refinement condition in this scenario.

Add Refinement condition​

  1. Click Add refinement condition

  2. Select "Shipping Carrier" condition and the necessary operator
