Create a shipping profile (Legacy)

Learn how to set up a shipping profile to effectively track and report order shipping expenses.

If your shipping costs fluctuate based on order price, weight, or item quantity, implement a dynamic profile to apply the accurate shipping cost per order according to these variables.

This article walks you through the setup of shipping profiles, ensuring that all contribution costs are considered to provide an accurate assessment of your profit.​

Create a new profile

  1. Navigate to Settings ➡️ Costs ➡️ Fulfillment

  2. Select Dynamic

  3. Click Create Profile

  4. Enter a Shipping Profile Name

  5. Select whether this shipping profile should apply to All Products or Specific Products
    ⚠️ Note: Ensure that if specific products are selected, profiles are created for the non-selected products to have costs applied to them as well.

  6. Click "Create shipping zone" and select the countries to be included in this zone, once done click next
    ⚠️ Note: Multiple zones can be created in the same profile

  7. Enter your shipping cost rates, whether they are fixed or depending on a variable, after entering all rates click Done
    ⚠️ Note: If you use shipping methods, a base rate of $0 and enter the full rate in each of the methods under "additional rate"


  8. Click save once you are done with setting up all the shipping zones for this profile

  9. Select the date range these changes should apply to and click Save & Next
