BeProfit's Calculation Preferences enable you to tailor how the app evaluates your data. Adjusting these preferences impacts how your data is displayed on your dashboard and other pages throughout the app.

Below is a breakdown of what is impacted and what remains unaffected:

Affected pages:

  • Dashboard

  • Compare Shops

  • Compare Countries

  • Compare Channels

  • P&L report

  • Custom reports (including BeProfit reports)

  • Fulfillment

  • Discounts report

  • Processing Gateways report

  • Products (partially affected)

Unaffected:

  • Orders

  • Marketing

  • Cohort analysis

*These pages have their own set of rules regarding calculations:

  • Pending orders are not counted in the total order revenue unless they are Cash On Delivery orders, which is a type of transaction where customers pay for an order at the time of delivery rather than using credit.

On the products page, items of pending orders won’t count as ‘sold’.

On the marketing page, these orders aren’t counted as ‘sales’.

  • Refunds are always counted by the date an order was placed and will appear as ‘refunded’ on the marketing and products page.

⚠️Note: this applies to the products page as well
