Troubleshooting Ad Platform Connection Issues

Learn how to troubleshoot the primary causes of ad platform connection failure.

If you're having trouble when trying to connect your ad platforms, try the following steps to see if they help resolve the issue:

1. Make sure to disable all ad blockers/popup blockers

Ad blockers and popup blockers can interfere with the connection process, so it's important to disable them before attempting to connect your ad platforms.

2. Check that you're not using Incognito or Private Mode on your browser

Using Incognito or Private Mode can prevent the connection dialogue from opening. Make sure to switch to a regular browsing window before attempting to connect your ad platforms.

3. Enable third-party cookies

Third-party cookies are necessary for the connection process to work. If they are disabled, you may experience issues when trying to connect your ad platforms. Follow this link to learn how to enable third-party cookies on your browser.

4. Try to use another browser to connect the ad platform(s) in question

If you're still having trouble connecting your ad platforms, try using a different browser. Sometimes certain browsers can have compatibility issues with certain ad platforms.

5. Turn off any VPN software you have activated

VPNs can also interfere with the connection process. Make sure to turn off any VPN software before attempting to connect your ad platforms.

6. If the first 5 steps don't solve the issue, try disabling your browser extensions before attempting to connect again.

Browser extensions can occasionally prevent the connection dialogue from opening. Try disabling them and then attempt to connect your ad platforms again.
